Exactly but mere emphasis solely on educational qualification is unfortunate as after few years in job market, your skills & experience has more leverage than the degree and I am saying this based on my personal experience. In our group I was the one with least amount of formal education but still I got promoted 2 times ahead of Masters degree holders form US and foreign universities.
The issue here is, USCIS is a government agency. They are incapable of making a subjective determination of a person's capability. All they go by is the degree certificate which can be seen on a piece of paper.
As per INA/USCIS, many of the following won't qualify for EB2:

lets come back to the point....
How can we all become ILLEGAL....
1) Just resign your job, stay in the country for 2 days and u are illegal....
What other options do we have? Please explore them here
1. Goto queens NY and join a fish shop. Most of them dont want to be legal though :) as they have to pay tax!!
2. Go climb Statue of Liberty wearing a T-shirt "Gimme Z"

DO NOT even think of making this mistake in the wildest of your dreams.
Get it renewed here, eve if it means paying the extra $100.00 for "Tatkal" service.
It is quick, simple and hassle free.
You better be very well connected with somebody in the Passport Office and the local police in you hometown, if yo want to get this done in India.

Hi everybody,
I fail to understand how L1's are getting Green cards in 6-8 months. I have done my masters here and am waiting forever for my GC and here I met someone who has come here as a BPO devlpt manager for an Indian company and in 1 year after coming to the US gets his GC after 6 months of application. He is just a BCOM from India. On top of it he told me many of his friends in the same company and other Indian companies have got GC's in less than 6 months. I dont get it. On top of it his wife can work here on L2. How can they file under EB1 - isnt that meant for doctors and Phds? He is not even intelligent which is the saddest part. Here we are with education and exp and contributed much more to the govt here than they have and we wait for bulletins every month hoping it would move at least 15 days, getting our h1's extended everytime and dreading to go to India because of visa stamping each year. This is such a sad situation. Should not the DOL do something about this.
Regards

It is 7 years for sure.
I think its more than 3 since I got a notice about my 2003 state taxes in 2007 which they said they never received and I got stuck with a penalty ( although I was getting a refund ). I paid the penalty since it would have been too much of a hassle to go through 2003 records and then duelling it out with the IRS.

I can't agree more.
Many IV members post on this forum as if it some desi networking site.
Today IV is our banner for our Immigration woes. Maybe it is the only one. If anti-immigrants need to know what is happening in our world, they have a single source i.e. IV.
So whenever somebody posts something on this forum, please be reminded that this forum is a favorite among anti-immigrants too. Every post on this forum is indirectly addressing anti-immigrants.
Please be wise about what you post on this forum.
My 2 cents.

Thanks for the update!
Its the same for my wife too, TB and xray RFE.
I will have act act fast on this.
On a last note, do you know how much you paid for the TB and XRAY test in your city?
Was it covered by any insurance? or any method you can suggest to let insurance cover it?
Thanks again for your prompt inputs!
TB, XRay and Physical was 150 $ for me. Since I had (and you should too as USCIS send a sealed envelop of the medical exam) previous medical exam they were able to get the immunization records from that.
